| In November of 2007, I was privileged to spend almost two weeks painting on Bald Head Island, which is located in the Atlantic Ocean off the southern tip of North Carolina. To reach the island, we needed to load ourselves, as well as all our gear on a ferry. No cars are allowed on the island, although there are golf carts. I was able to have access to a golf cart most of the time, which was a huge help in transporting my painting gear and myself around the island. It was truly a memorable experience. Below are a few photos from Bald Head Island.
The first 14 paintings below are from Bald Head Island. These were all painted on site, on the island. The middle two paintings are taken from cathedrals, and the lower four are from the Wilmington, North Carolina area.
